Refund Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned:

  • Missed classes and experiences
  • Custom or personalized products
  • Sale items
  • Gift cards

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to contact us via email or phone. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged and exchange for items of equal value.

Refunds

We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

Shipping Policy

All pottery is carefully wrapped and packaged to ensure it arrives safely. We ship via USPS Priority Mail within the continental United States.

Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 3-5 business days. During busy seasons (holidays, after kiln openings), processing may take up to 7-10 business days.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. Local pickup is available at the studio in Salem, UT.

Damaged Shipments

If your pottery arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos and we will send a replacement or issue a full refund including shipping costs.

Thrown Studio respects your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

  • Name, email, phone number, and shipping address when you place an order
  • Email address when you subscribe to our newsletter
  • Payment information (processed securely by Shopify Payments — we never store card details)

Third-Party Services

We use Shopify to power our online store. Your data is stored through Shopify's data storage and databases. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
